Andy Burnham’s left wing-ness might well outweigh his pro European stance, if this Labour mainstream group really is Democratic socialist as it apparently self describes itself. A wishful thinking trojan horse for Pro European people to advance the single market through Burnham.
Though this is understandable given the desperation among pro European people given Reform UK and its lead in the polls for god knows how long now.
wanted Starmer to pull off some reforms on housing and levelling up and some alignment with the EU, yet through his own incompetence on a psychological/personal level, it’s looking like it might all go to shit.
